Saturday was a busy day for our family. We were able to go to the Gateway for a book fair that was put on by Fidelity and see where Micah works. Ethan's favorite part was running through the water fountains and commented that it was the most fun that he had in his entire life. We raced back home from the Gateway to attend our wards Scouting Dutch Oven Dinner at a nearby park. While playing at the park Ethan and Emma both got hurt. Emma got hit with a swing causing her nose to badly bleed and Ethan fell off the monkey bars onto his right arm.
We decided to take Ethan in to have his arm X-rayed just to be safe because he wasn't acting himself. Here is a picture of him laying in the van in pain.
He ended up fracturing the lateral condyle of his humerus and a soft cast was put on his arm until he sees an orthopedic specialist this coming week.

Our whirlwind day ended with a reading of some of the books we got at the book fair.

Are you kidding me? That is awful. Two damaged kids... that's enough to drive you insane. Is he being careful with his little cast?

The only broken bones we've ever had was Julia's three shattered little fingers. That was you know what. So I do not wish anything broken on anyone. Good Luck. Tell Ethan and Liza "Get better fast". Once that's done, maybe we should look into buying a bubble. I'll get one for my kids too.
Your poor kids! How are you holding up? How are they feeling?
I'll call you in the next few days so we can set something up for visiting teaching. I can't do it Sunday since I have a bunch of family in town, but maybe the first of next week???
